What’s the dress code?
The dress code for our wedding is cocktail! Gentlemen, we suggest a jacket. Ladies, we suggest dressy cocktail attire. Our venue is outdoors and rustic, so we recommend practical shoes for grass and uneven ground. Flip flops will be available for comfort!
Where is the ceremony and reception?
Both the ceremony and reception will take place on Buck Island. The island is small, and the reception will be within walking distance of the ceremony.
Will the wedding be indoor or outdoor?
Our wedding will be outdoors, (weather permitting!)
How far is Buck Island from Hilton Head?
Buck Island is a quick 10 minute boat ride from Hilton Head!
What time should I arrive for the boat shuttle to Buck Island?
Friday, 10/2: 4:30 PM
Saturday, 10/3: 3:30 PM
Where is the dock located for boat charter pickup?
The boat charter is located at Harbour Town marina. The boat is named “Spirit of Harbour Town” and is a two-story Vagabond.
Exact location details, including the slip number, will be shared closer to the event. Please check back for updates as more information becomes available.
Is there parking at the boat dock?
Yes! Please park in Harbour Town near the marina. There is a $9 gate fee to enter Sea Pines. Please place the gate pass on your dashboard, and your car can remain there throughout the weekend.
If you’re staying at a hotel in Harbour Town/Sea Pines, they should provide a gate pass, which may be mailed to you or available for pickup at the Welcome Center at 32 Greenwood Drive. Please contact your hotel directly to confirm the details.
What if I am late missing the boat over to Buck Island?
We highly encourage all guests to arrive by 4:30 PM on Friday and 3:30 PM on Saturday to catch the main boat. If you will be arriving at a different time, please let Annie or Brian know so we can coordinate accommodations for guests arriving or departing at alternate times. Don’t worry- you won’t be stranded!
Can I leave Buck Island before the 11 PM shuttle on Saturday?

Is it possible to stay on Buck Island after the 11:00 PM shuttle leaves on Saturday?
The boat charter will be leaving Buck Island at 11pm on Saturday.
For guests who’d like to stay past 11pm, there will be couches available to crash on, and a boat will be running trips back on Sunday morning 😊
